Sharpening machine Chucha-LIGHT for KNIVES, 3D model

Greetings! This product is for personal use only. All rights reserved. I am selling a model of a sharpener with a rotary mechanism that can be printed on a 3D printer. You can also purchase files for upgrading on the website. The archive contains 3 folders:

  • 3D model BONUS is the source code for the 3D model of the sharpener, with which you can completely edit the model if necessary.
  • STL for ABS printing - files are calculated with a shrinkage of 0.3 mm.
  • STL for PLA-PETG printing - files are calculated with a shrinkage of 0.2 mm.

If you have other shrinkage parameters, then use the source files from the 3D model BONUS folder, they are in the Autodesk Inventor 2017 format (.ipt-.iam).

What you will need:

  1. Smooth shaft for holders of stones with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 600 mm = 1 piece (on one side you can cut an M8 thread to turn the handle, or you can simply press it in) -

  2. A smooth shaft for fastening a frame with a diameter of 8 mm and a length of 180 mm = 1 piece, this shaft is pressed into the frame, so try not to loosen the holes (you need to cut an M8 thread on it with a length of 20 mm, and on the other side 50 mm). We twist the short side into the handle of our frame.

  3. M8 pin 235 mm long, which we insert into our rack = 1 pc.

  4. M8 pin 35 mm long, which holds our hinge = 1 pc.

  5. A smooth shaft with a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 70 mm, into which we press a gear for our rack and pinion mechanism = 1 pc.

  6. M6 pin, 50 mm long, for clamping lips = 2 pcs.

  7. Hinge with a diameter of 8, for our smooth shaft = 1 piece -

  8. Two backlash-free bushings 81130mm, for our shaft that holds the frame -

  9. Nut M8 = 4 pcs.

  10. Bolt M4x20 = (type DIN 912 hexagon) = 2 pcs for clamping lips.

  11. Self-tapping screw 4x25 mm = 4 pcs for rack and pinion mechanism.

  12. Bolt M6x35 = 4 pcs. for attaching the rotating mechanism to the frame.

  13. Nut M6 = 6 pcs.

  14. Spring = 25 mm for shaft with diameter 8 (stone holder) = 2 pcs; We put one at the end as a stopper, and the second for pressing the forms.

  15. Spring = 15 mm for tightening the rack and pinion mechanism = 4 pieces, we will put it on our self-tapping screws.

  16. Sharpening stones, which can be purchased separately in specialized stores.

  17. 3D printer and software for printing the model.

  18. Assembly tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, tweezers, etc.

Please note that assembling the model may require certain skills and knowledge, so if you are not confident in your capabilities, it is recommended that you contact professionals or people who have experience in assembling such devices.
