Containment (Mexico): This small map is located on a dry riverbed in a war-torn South American village. In the center of the map there is a small bridge with a truck containing leaked radioactive materials.

Ignition (Florida, USA): Inspired by Scrapyard, the popular Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2 map, Ignition takes players to an aging space center on the west coast of Florida.

Onslaught also gives players a deadly new weapon - the Maverick, a dual-purpose assault rifle/sniper rifle. It features a lightweight wooden stock and a digital display, allowing players to choose whether to use the Maverick as an assault rifle or a sniper rifle depending on tactical missions.

As an assault rifle, the weapon fires automatically with high damage at long ranges, and as a sniper rifle, the Maverick has an advanced sight and semi-automatic firing mode.

The basis of this content pack is Episode 1: Nightfall, the first part of the four-episode Extinction story. At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the mysterious Nightfall program is investigating the origins of the "Alien" threat. When scientists lose control, a small squad of elite soldiers must extract information and destroy hordes of wild creatures while surviving a ten-foot-tall horror they have never faced before.

Episode 1: Nightfall is a fast-paced and exciting continuation of the Extinction experience, featuring two new alien species and exclusive weapons.
